The Lavallette School is the cornerstone of a truly amazing community, the support of the Mayor, Town Council, Police Department, Public Works, and School PTO is clearly the foundation that allows the school to provide a truly amazing academic and social experience for our children. The Board of Education, school staff and the entire Lavallette school community would like to say “THANK YOU” for all your support; we will continue to do our best to make you proud.
The Lavallette School Learning Organization is devoted to providing a comprehensive and caring educational experience that nurtures the unique talents of each student. It is our overall expectation that all students achieve the Common Core Standards at all grade levels. Furthermore, our mission is guided by the principle of facilitating the development of lifelong learners that possess the confidence and capabilities to respect diversity and develop cognition of 21st century globalization while becoming socially responsible, civic minded citizens of the United States of America.
With regard to the most recent evidence-based and scientifically researched pedagogy, the Lavallette School staff has participated in numerous professional trainings. A shared Service Agreement with the Lavallette Police Department is providing the Lavallette School with a School Resource Officer (SRO). The Lavallette School will be utilizing Google Chrome for Education throughout all grade levels. Our technology infrastructure has gone totally wireless and is ready to support our 1-1 Chromebook program in grades 2-8 and carted Chromebooks in grades K-1. All Lavallette School curricula have been revised to meet all State and Federal Mandates. After school recreation program (K-5) and recreational Saturday sports program will again provide interpersonal and athletic growth. We have revised our Community Adult School, 2 classes will be held each month. The Lavallette School Board of Education, administration and staff are dedicated to creating a learning organization where modernistic and widespread patterns of thinking are nurtured, where staff, students and parents regularly develop their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where collective aspiration is set free, and where people are faithfully learning how to learn together.
