Mrs. Pat DeNardi, a Special Teacher.....
Lavallette School mourns the passing of our friend and colleague, Pat DeNardi, after her long courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. DeNardi taught kindergarten for twenty three years retiring in 2005. She was loved, and will be missed by all.....
Sports Physicals
Our School Physician will perform sport physicals for the school year 2010-2011 on Thursday, June 24th beginning at 9:00 AM. The Annual Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Education Examination Form is available for you to download. The forms can be found in the Wednesday Folders and News Events on the left hand side of this page. Please call the nurse's office for an appointment: 732-793-7722 ext 202.
Lavallette School Summer Library Program
Lavallette School will once again have their Summer Library Program. The program will begin on Tuesday, July 6th and continue every Tuesday and Friday until August 6th. The hours are from 9:30-12:30. Select a book, construct with legoes, K'nex, tangrams, use the Tech Lab, color, paint, have fun and see your school friends!
Summer Camps at Lavallette School
Lavallette School will house several summer camps. All of the camps, cost, and details of each are listed on the Wednesday Folder page. Hoop Dreamz will be held July 19-23. Doug Houser CSI Camp will have two sessions; July 26-30, and Aug 9-13. The Suburban Summer Basketball Camp will be from Aug 2-6. The Summer Enrichment Academy is being sponsored by the Lavallette Municipal Alliance and will have two sessions. Week 1 is from July 12-16, and week 2 is July 19-23.

Thank you Lavallette for passing our school budget! Congratulations to MaryAnn Baginski on being elected to another three year term. We appreciate all of the support that the community gives to our students and to our school.

After-School Homework Help for Students
Point Beach High School students that graduated from Lavallette have offered their services to be homework helpers for our students again next year. They will be here on Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school until 4:00. Anyone that needs homework help is welcome! Our students had a great year last year with all of their help! A special thank you to all of our high school tutors!

Lavallette Olympians Win Third Place!
With flying feet and determination to reach the finish line in record time, Lavallette's team participating in the Antrim Olympics took third place and brought honor to themselves and our school. Their sportsmanship, hard work, and effort are to be commended! Congratulations to all our participants and medal winners! (The official list of medal winners & participants is now posted on the Student Recognition Page under the tab Students.)
