Mrs. Weiss

Kindergarten
Dear Parents,
Welcome to our new web site! I'm so excited about the opportunity to communicate with you in the days ahead. As your child begins learning more skills, I will be using this site to provide you with an understanding of how they are learning the skill and offer suggestions for review and application at home. Hopefully, we will be able to work as a team in our efforts to provide the best possible learning opportunities for your child!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Weiss

It's All In A Monthly Moment

I am Mrs. Weiss proud teacher of the fantastic fabulous Kinderfriends! My favorite children’s song is whatever the class is singing at the moment. They have such good voices. I like to walk to the boards, ride my bike, and spend time with my family and friends. I love to eat eggplant, coffee ice cream sodas, and cashew nuts. My favorite children’s book is Guess How Much I Love You. My favorite children’s movie is Lady and the Tramp. My favorite subject is reading. My favorite animal is a sheep dog. I want to be the best listener I can be and thank my home, church and school families for their support in all I do.

Meet a Kinder Treasure
We get so excited when we know it's time for Mrs. Mathaei to visit.
She visited with us in October, November and now December! She always brings a favorite book to share with us. We love to hear her make the stories come alive.
Many times she brings some of her speical collections for us to see, or we look at framed drawings that her sons drew when they were students at Lavallette School.
Before she goes, she always surprises us with a treat.
We love her visits!

It's Hard To Be Five"
by: Jamie Lee Curtis & Laura Cornell
"It's hard to be five,
Just yelled at my brother.
My mind says do one thing,
My mouth says another!"
This is a great book to help us to learn self control.
